About the lesson

I have taught Secondary Mathematics from A level to key stage 3 since 1992. I have taught Mathematics online since January 2014.

I have a degree in Maths with Electronic Engineering, and a PGCE in secondary education. I have worked in schools ranging from a grammar school to a pupil referral unit and have also taught across the age and ability ranges.

I am an extremely patient and tolerant tutor, and I make it clear to students about the importance of their feedback, and how they must tell me if they don't understand a point and I will cover the issue again from a different angle. Student feedback is a vital part of my tutoring. Within the English Secondary School system I reached the post of head of year.
