About Jack
In the first lesson, we will discuss your learning goals, as well as your weakness and strengths. I have a wide range of materials that we will use in our lessons but your personal preference would also be taken into account.
I have been teaching German for many years with students from all backgrounds and all ages. Previously, I worked as a Head of Languages in various secondary schools.
I understand the difficulties children and adults face when learning languages and whatever your age or ability would be more than happy to teach you.

Hello. My name is Jack and I live on Teesside. My passion is languages: I love learning them and also teaching them. I have had the experience of teaching German French and Spanish to students in a variety of settings throughout the UK.
After university, I worked in Austria and perfected my German to a near native speaker level in ski resorts. German is my passion and since then have taught the language to GCSE and A-Level.
I believe that the best way to learn a language is losing our fear and interacting with different people.
I understand that some students can feel overwhelmed by grammar exercises, too many worksheets and, from time to time lose their motivation. I will help you regain your motivation for languages.
