About Ashley

I am Ashley Holder and I graduated from Houston Baptist University in 2004 with my Bachelors Degree in Multidisciplinary Studies. I am certified through the state of Texas to teach EC - 4. I started teaching when I was twenty two years old and I am now forty one. I have lots of teaching experience and many ideas and tools to implement when helping children. Also, when I was a child school was not easy for me and neither was college. Therefore, I can relate to kiddos who maybe struggling with learning a concept or school in general.

About the lesson

I would make the tutoring lessons engaging for the child. Above all I would need to observe the child to see where their struggles are and find out the best way they learn. A child might learn better using hands on, auditory, written expression, etc. A child will learn any concept especially struggling concepts if it is presented to them in their optimal learning style.
