About Karen
I am a mom of two beautiful, grown sons. I began in the field of education in the early 2000’s to be with my sons. My second year of teaching I fell in love with teaching a student with Autism. I then completed my Masters in Autism Spectrum Disorder and Severe and Profound Disabilities. And I and currently completing my dissertation in Curriculum & Instruction for students who are different. I belive and know that every student is different, no matter what their abilities, and we all deserve an equitable and fair education, for ourselves and our future children.
