• 1) What age did you start playing sport? Tell us about this time or moment in your life.

  I've been active from a young age-growing up, movement was always part of how I related to the world. But my deeper connection with the body really began when I discovered longboard dancing and yoga in my twenties. These practices helped me transition from moving for performance or competition to moving for self-awareness and joy.

• 2) What are your favourite sports; those that you practice at a high level, a simple hobby, and a sport that you'd still like to discover?

  Yoga and longboarding are at the heart of my life now-both are physical practices but also creative and expressive. I'm especially into longboard dancing, which blends movement and rhythm with technical skill. As a hobby, I love surfing. I'd love to explore surfing more seriously-it feels like a natural next step.

• 3) What gives you the motivation and passion to pursue your sport?

  Movement is how I come back to myself. It clears my head, grounds me, and reminds me I'm part of something bigger. I'm also really motivated by the way movement builds community-seeing my students connect with their bodies and with each other is a huge source of energy for me.

• 4) Do you have a sporting achievement that you're particularly proud of?

  I'm proud of the way I've built a yoga and longboarding community here in Bristol (@bristolgirlslongboard and @soulfulskateco), creating spaces that feel welcoming and inclusive. I've also taught at festivals and events I used to attend as a participant, which feels like a full-circle moment.

• 5) How have your achievements and challenges made you a better sportsperson?

  Injuries and setbacks have taught me patience and presence. They've shown me how important it is to listen to my body and move with awareness, not just ambition. That understanding makes me a better teacher too-I can spot when others need that same reminder.

• 6) If you had to go for a jog with a famous athlete, who would you choose? And what questions would you ask them?

  I'd love to walk and talk with Rachael Brathen (Yoga Girl) or Bethany Hamilton-both blend sport with a deep sense of purpose and community. I'd ask how they stay connected to themselves while holding space for so many others.

• 7) How do you help people stay motivated?

  I meet people where they're at. My classes are grounded but playful, and I always remind students that there's no pressure to perform-just an invitation to be present. I also regularly check in and build themes into classes that feel emotionally and seasonally relevant, which keeps things meaningful and fresh.

• 8) What makes you a Superprof in sports?

  I blend creativity with solid, functional movement and adapt my approach to suit each individual. Whether someone's joining to explore yoga for the first time or looking to deepen their practice, they'll find thoughtful, responsive teaching that supports their goals and respects their pace.
