About Nadia

Hello! I’m Nadia, a native English speaker from New York City, licensed teacher, and Harvard University and law school graduate with 13 years of experience helping students improve their English. In addition to my U.S. teaching license, I am TEFL-certified at the Level 5 Diploma (168 hours) and also hold certifications in Teaching Business English, Teaching English Online & One-to-One, and Teaching Young Learners. I’ve taught international school students, professionals, and North Korean refugees, and I specialize in building fluency, vocabulary, and real-world communication skills. I scored in the 98th percentile on the GRE verbal and writing sections, and in the 85th percentile on the LSAT. These results reflect my deep understanding of advanced English and my ability to help students succeed on high-stakes exams like the IELTS. About the lesson

My lessons are designed to build fluency, confidence, and clear communication—whether you're learning English for work, study, or everyday life. I tailor each session to your goals and level using engaging, practical materials.

We may focus on:
* Speaking practice and conversation skills
* Vocabulary building with sentence creation
* IELTS preparation, including speaking and writing strategies
* Business English, such as emails, presentations, and workplace communication
* Grammar and real-time error correction
* Reading and discussion of authentic newspaper articles, to expand vocabulary and critical thinking

For students who prefer a more structured approach, I also offer the option to follow a textbook that I provide. This gives lessons a clear progression and supports independent study between sessions.

You'll receive clear explanations, personalized feedback, and supportive guidance every step of the way.
