About Joshua
I am a hard-working, enthusiastic person with a strong mathematical background. I studied Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry for A level and I am going to study Physics at University of Bristol. My capabilities in Maths and problem solving, along with my personable and friendly nature, enable me to be a successful tutor.
I have previously tutored a boy in year 4 for 9 months, helping him to improve his mathematics as part of his preparation for assessment for Preparatory Schools. I also tutored a second boy in year 9, who, as a result, managed to move up to the top set in Maths. I can tutor Maths from Primary school level to first year GCSE.
I contributed as an academic assistant in GCSE Maths for Years 10 and 11. As an academic assistant I supported the teacher in teaching lessons and helping students to problem solve any issues they encountered. This gave me valuable in class experience in tutoring Maths.
