Hello! I've spent a few decades engaging with music in many forms - as a touring guitarist across the US, Canada, and Europe; as a recording artist on a US-distributed album; and as a band member honored with a California Music Award. I've also enjoyed playing bossa nova throughout San Francisco.

I'd like to share my guitar experience with students eager to explore their musical potential. My background spans rock, blues, funk, hip-hop, and bossa nova. I specialize in helping you to put your rythm playing in the pocket to get people out on the dance floor , learn to solo, build your own bonfire-ready cover song collection, broaden your horizons and fortify your foundation with a diverse set of genres, and gain confidence in songwriting if you want to explore that. My approach to teaching is relaxed, encouraging, and centered around your unique musical aspirations.
