About Mackenzie
Sometimes I find that reading sheet music feels like learning a secret language that stays hidden for too long. My background at the Royal College of Music taught me that music theory is the backbone of great playing.
I have 13 years of experience teaching lead guitar and blues progressions. Fingerpicking and power chords are secondary to building a deep understanding of the neck. Barre chords are manageable. Ear training remains our primary focus as you aim for your musical goals.

My method involves breaking down complex songs into manageable patterns that make sense to the student. We integrate reading tabs into every session so you can transcribe the music you love independently.
