About Tami
Do you spend Sundays on stage but feel stuck when the service ends? Teaching 13 years has shown me that bridging the gap between worship music and secular genres is a common struggle. I earned my Diploma in Guitar from Musicians Institute Hollywood to understand the mechanics behind the fretboard.
My path started with messy cassette tapes, so I keep things RELAXED while maintaining a solid grip on theory. You will find my teaching style is definitely not stuffy.

Simple arrangements often sound better than the complex originals. Turning your favorite song requests into playable charts is how we spend our time together.
My approach uses the structured theory I gained at Musicians Institute Hollywood to explain electric technique and blues progressions. Reading sheet music or rhythm guitar work becomes easy once you grasp the patterns. Songwriting and acoustic technique also get their fair share of focus. Mastering the fretboard happens faster when you actually enjoy the music you are playing.
