About Tina
Graduate of the Art Institute of Charlotte, I have studied art and design my entire life well beyond the walls of any classroom. I have spent the past 20 years working in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop as a graphic designer. The strength behind my design skills is my extensive knowledge and understanding of marketing and advertising along with buyer/consumer behavior. I studied business management with a focus in marketing while at Catawba College. Making sure that letters are spaced (lead/kerned) properly while having chosen the perfect font along with color choices and imagery that conveys a brand’s identity can make or break a company. The logo design must attract the consumer and appeal to their senses but it can only be effective if the proper market research has been conducted. You can have an amazing logo but if it doesn’t align with the product market it can also be the biggest disappointment and failure as well.

My inviting personality, yet a tad quirky, makes others feel comfortable. I’ve worked with and sat across from CEO’s and Presidents of international companies and I’ve ate dinner with drug addicts and career criminals. I don’t care who you are or where you came from, I don’t care if your skill level is basic or intermediate I’m here to help you learn and positively impact your life through this tutoring experience.
