About Claire

I love to work with kids, and have tutored kids in and outside of my University! With up to 4+ years of tutoring experience, my style is to really get to know the student with individualized lesson plans.

I have received positive feedback from previous students and have improved students' C/B averages to A's! I hope to aid you in this journey as well.

I love math and anything science related as I plan to study medicine in the near future.

About the lesson

As a tutor, my hope is to create an engaging and supportive learning environment. I work with students to effectively utilize their strengths while improving their weaknesses. My teaching methods will vary according to the unique needs and learning styles of each individual student. Here's an overview of my approach:

1. Learning your or parents' target of interest
2. Learning your learning style
3. Going over homework problems; studying for tests
4. Giving problem sets to practice
5. Explanation and demonstration broken down step-by-step
6. Student is given opportunities to try without my help
7. Assigning practice and feedback

My lessons are primarily designed for students at various academic levels, ranging from elementary school to university. I am open to giving lessons in other subsets of Chemistry and hope to expand and improve your knowledge on the subject. Regardless of the facet, I am dedicated to helping you succeed.
