About Vania
I have tutored people of different ages, who work and live in different places, such as within Puerto Rico and in New York. I coached English language speakers in Spanish and also English language learners in literature and composition. I am a student of history and philosophy as well, and encourage all students to answer their individual inquiries about the world so they can easily participate in interpersonal settings and manage their own schedules across the board, whether professionally or not.

I am a patient and understanding teacher. I enjoy helping people learn. My goals in teaching include coaching foreign & international students to handle the grammatical and technical aspects of the English language and to appreciate the various global cultures. My strategy focuses upon writing and reading, incorporating literature and active listening skills as well as appreciating the English language so students can use the language acquisition to positively engage in the world and work towards their individual aims at work, as well as for navigating everyday life, wherever they may happen to be, whether traveling or working remotely.
