About Shayna
I have currently been an art teacher for 6 years. I love what I do. The passion and drive I see from those I taught is my inspiration. I have taught students as young as kindergarten - high school. I have led painting sessions for private events. My artwork has been displayed for our local community multiple times for nonprofit organizations fundraising. As an educator, I love talking/critiqueing with my students about their art. We discuss the artwork’s strengths and what can be developed to make the art stronger. I hope that you will learn tips and tricks along the way to better yourself in becoming stronger artists.

I am currently an art teacher. I have always loved teaching people the fundamentals of painting / drawing / photography and seeing the joy as they discover. I would love you to join my class to relax and have fun with art. It is okay to make mistakes; it is how we learn to use paint and get creative. Coming to my class will give you some tips and tricks on how to become a stronger artist. As I have told many of my students, as long as you are trying, you will have fun and grow. Art and education were my major in college and they both continue to be my passion today!
