About Parsh

My passion for teaching stems from a lifelong love of problem-solving and mathematics, which inspired me to challenge myself and ultimately rank 1st in Victoria at the Math Games for High Ability Learners. I want to teach because I know firsthand how transformative it is when a difficult concept finally clicks, and I want to help other students experience that same breakthrough. Having worked directly in educational curriculum development, I genuinely enjoy finding creative ways to make intimidating subjects approachable, practical, and engaging for everyone.

Ultimately, I teach to empower students to build true academic confidence. I want to show my students that with the right strategies, determination, and support, no subject is out of reach. My goal is to pass on the exact analytical skills, study habits, and critical thinking methods that have helped me succeed in my own double degree at Monash University, leaving my students feeling motivated and fully capable of reaching their own potential.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology is student-centered and highly adaptable. Instead of relying on rigid lectures, I focus on active learning by breaking down complex concepts into manageable pieces and using real-world analogies. I prioritize identifying each student's unique learning style and building their academic confidence, creating a supportive environment where mistakes are treated as valuable steps toward mastery.

A typical lesson runs for 60 minutes, which is the ideal length to maintain high engagement without causing fatigue. We begin with a quick 5-minute review of past material or homework roadblocks, spend the next 40 minutes diving into core instruction and interactive practice, and conclude with a 10-minute wrap-up to summarize key takeaways and outline independent next steps.

My lessons are specifically designed for middle and high school students (ages 11–18) of all skill levels as well as primary school students. Whether a student is struggling to keep up and needs foundational support, or an advanced learner is aiming to boost their grades from Bs to As and prepare for major exams, I tailor the pace and depth of the material to match their specific academic goals.

I bring a strong background of academic success and practical coaching to every session, I have a proven track record of helping students overcome academic anxiety, improve their study habits, and noticeably raise their grades.
