About Raphael
Hello, I'm Raphael.
I come from a career in IT, where I spent many years solving problems, designing systems and working with data. Every one of those jobs relied on mathematics, from logic and patterns to numbers and structure, even when it wasn't obvious.
I teach maths because I enjoy it, and because I think it's far more approachable than most people believe. Many students don't struggle because they can't do maths. They struggle because nobody explained it in a way that clicked. I want to be the person who makes it click: breaking ideas into small steps, showing why a method works, and being patient with mistakes, because mistakes are how we learn.
In my lessons, there are no silly questions, and you won't be rushed. My aim is for you to understand maths, gain confidence, and enjoy it more than you expected.
