About Drew
Hello! My name is Mrs. Foster. I am so happy you're here! In 2014 I graduated from Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, MI with a B.S. in Intercultural Studies, equipping me with skills in education, communication, interpersonal communication, writing, psychology and cross-cultural competency. In July 2025 I completed my TEFL/TESOL certification through TEFLorg! I have several years of teaching experience, including working as a paraprofessional, substitute teacher, tutor, training/orientation facilitator and program facilitator. I have worked with all ages (most recently elementary-age children), skill level, and those with neurodivergence.

I seek to make learning fun and enjoyable for all of my students. My students have the opportunity to take ownership of their own learning and take an active role in their education. During our sessions, we will incorporate all different kinds of modes of learning, including reading, writing, movement, music and art. I get to know you as an individual and tailor my lessons to your specific interests and needs. I welcome any level of student, regardless of age or ability levels. I also have years of experience working with neurodivergent individuals!

I have worked with Drew for 2+ years. She is a para within my ASD classroom for elementary students. We have had a few EL students and she is excellent at working with them. She takes the time to get to know them and understand them. Also she figures out how to meet each student’s individual needs.
Drew is a knowledgeable and caring person who wants all of their students to do well. Drew is very good at individualizing work to the specific level of the student and providing needed support.
