As a tutor, I always aim to create a learning environment where students feel comfortable, motivated, and confident in asking questions. I understand that many students struggle with math because they lose confidence easily, so I focus on being patient, supportive, and encouraging throughout every lesson.

I take my role professionally by preparing lessons carefully, arriving on time, and making sure each session is organized and productive. Hello! My name is Alexis Abbang, and I am a passionate math tutor with experience teaching students in a patient, engaging, and supportive way. My teaching method focuses on making math simple and easy to understand by breaking complex topics into smaller steps. I encourage students to ask questions and participate actively during lessons so they can build confidence while learning.

My teaching techniques include step-by-step explanations, guided practice, real-life examples, and interactive problem-solving activities. I also adapt my teaching style depending on the student’s learning pace and needs. For younger learners, I use visual aids and simple strategies, while for older students, I focus more on logic, analytical thinking, and exam preparation.

A typical lesson usually starts with a short review of previous topics to strengthen understanding. Then, I introduce the new lesson with clear explanations and examples. After that, we work together on practice problems before the student tries solving independently. I always end the lesson with feedback, tips, and a quick summary to make sure the student fully understands the topic.
