About Antonia

I’m a 20 year old with years of practice in the English language. I teach professionally, respect parents and children’s choices, and maintain a strict power balance between students as their tutor. I am however, still a fun person! I know how to be engaging and comedic while still maintaining professionalism.

About the lesson

1. I have lessons and materials that are age-appropriate, interesting, and relevant to young learners. I use colorful visuals, stories, and games to capture their attention.

2. I focus on building a foundation of essential vocabulary words and phrases, such as colors, numbers, animals, and common objects.

3. I encourage correct pronunciation from the beginning. Use of pronunciation exercises and songs to help students develop clear speech.

4. You will develop listening skills through activities like listening to simple stories or songs and answering questions based on what you hear.

5. I encourage students to speak in English during class. We’ll use role-playing, show-and-tell, and group discussions to boost their confidence.

7. I teach young students how to write letters, their names, and basic words and emphasize correct letter formation.

8. I introduce basic sentence structures and grammar concepts in a simple and interactive manner.

9. I foster an appreciation for English-speaking cultures through stories, songs, and celebrations, aswell as celebration of my students cultures.
