About Kate
I am one of the only 89 Grade 9 students in Mississauga accepted into the Advanced Placement program at John Fraser Secondary School. I excel in all of my school courses, moreover, math is a personal favourite of mine. I have received the "Certificate of Distinction" for many of the University of Waterloo's math competitions, and I have also performed within the Top 5% of participants in Canada for the previous Caribou Math Contests.

I am a very patient and encouraging teacher who would love to teach other students at the middle/elementary school level. I understand when my students have difficulties, and I always do my best to break down problems and ensure that my students understand what they are learning. I encourage my students to ask questions and I try to create a comfortable learning space for them. I have a very flexible schedule and I can help with schoolwork while introducing new topics and concepts to my students.
