About Remy
Hello! I went to Duke University where I majored in Computer Science and Neuroscience, with minors in Classical Voice and Japanese. During that time I worked in the Nicolelis Invasive Brain Machine Interface Laboratory where we trained monkeys to play video games using only their minds. I also was awarded a position at Johns Hopkins for Computational Linguistics and Computer Vision. After my undergraduate I went to Baylor College of Medicine (my MCAT score was in the 99th percentile, and my Physical Science score was 100th percentile) until I was hired away from medical school by Google for a Software Engineering role.
I'm an open book, my expertise spans all of STEM (though Computer Science is my first Love), let's work together!

Each student has different needs, always I begin by ascertaining what our goals are for our sessions, and then I chart the course we shall take to arrive at those goals. As I learn what works and what doesn't work for a student I adapt my approach, but I typically begin by assessing the level of the student informally. My lessons are geared towards the undergraduate, graduate, or professional, and I've worked with over 300 students at Duke as an undergrad TA, at UTD as a Ph.D. candidate, and online as a Freelance Tutor.
