About Walker
I am a passionate ESL tutor with 9 years of experience working with High School and College students, helping around 150–200 learners improve their English skills. My teaching philosophy focuses on making learning interactive, practical, and enjoyable.
I believe students learn best when they are actively involved, so I use engaging activities such as conversations, discussions, and real-life scenarios. I also focus on building a strong foundation in grammar and vocabulary while improving speaking and writing skills.
I adapt my teaching style to meet the individual needs of each student, ensuring that they feel comfortable and confident. One of my proud achievements is helping students overcome their fear of speaking English and perform better academically. I am committed to providing a positive and effective learning experience.

My teaching approach for ESL is based on creativity, critical thinking, mentorship, and accountability. I aim to make learning English simple, engaging, and practical. I use creative techniques such as storytelling, role-play, discussions, and real-life examples to help students practise English confidently.
I encourage students to develop critical thinking by sharing ideas, solving problems, and expressing themselves clearly. This helps them improve their communication skills and confidence.
As a mentor, I support my students by guiding them step by step. I understand that each learner is different, so I adjust my teaching methods to meet their needs. I create a friendly and comfortable learning environment.
I also focus on accountability by setting clear goals, tracking progress, and providing feedback. I encourage students to stay committed to their learning.
Along with ESL, I teach related subjects to support overall development. My goal is to help students become confident and independent learners.
