About James
I'm a traveling engineer with an MBA. When I'm not traveling I have a lot of free time to dedicate to help students gain interest in mathematics, engineering, and business, so they may eventually create value for their own lives and the lives of others.
I have a large family that has always looked to me for advise in everything mathematics.
I have a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering and a masters degree in business administration. I directly applied trigonometry in an engineering role in the field of navigation systems for 6 years before pivoting to another engineering role more geared toward engineering design and project management.

Get an understanding of what their interests are outside of the educational institution, find ways that mathematics applies to their interests, and structure the subject around their interests to help them grasp concepts in ways they understand and are interested.

I had an opportunity to take my nieces and nephews and daughter fishing for the first time in their life. It was amazing watching them explore something new and enjoy it.
