About Anna-Maria
Ich bin eine Teilzeit-Studentin aus Österreich, also mit Deutsch als Muttersprache. Neben dem Studium gebe ich gerne Nachhilfe in verschiedenen Fächern, aber in Deutsch kenne ich mich natürlich am besten aus. In meinem Bachelorstudium habe ich sowohl Englisch als auch Deutsch studiert, und dann noch ein Studium in kreativem Schreiben obendrauf. Ich unterrichte einzelne Schüler genauso wie kleine Gruppen und kann mich sehr gut an deine individuellen Bedürfnisse anpassen - Dauer, Intensität, Thema und Modus sind adaptierbar.
I'm a part-time student from Austria, so German is my mother tongue. As a side job, I like tutoring students in different subjects, but German is of course the one I know most about. In my undergrad, I studied both English and German, and then I did a degree in creative writing and another in theater practice on top of that. I teach individual students as well as small groups and can adapt my lessons to your needs and wishes - duration, intensity, topic and mode of teaching are all adaptable.

I teach all the main skills necessary for both successfully communicating in a foreign language and for international language certificates: reading, listening, speaking, and writing. This of course includes (but is not limited to) vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and more. Depending on your individual needs, lessons can be adapted to focus on any one area, or feature all four main skills.
I try to teach mainly using German as the language of instruction so your brain gets fully immersed in the language (though sometimes a quick clarification in English can be necessary for time efficiency). All ages and levels of German are welcome in my lesson - although I am currently only able to teach online, which is not ideal for younger children.
Typically, a lesson lasts for 60 minutes, but I can also accommodate shorter times (e.g. half an hour for younger children) as well as longer ones -- prices would of course be adjusted accordingly.
My experience lies mostly with tutoring individual students, but I have also started to venture into the territory of small groups up to four people. Whether you just want to touch up on your casual conversation skills, prepare for your leaving cert, or get in some intensive cramming for an exam or a job interview, I will try to cater my lessons exactly to what you need!
