About Gabriela
I am a young professional from the United States with experience studying at a German university and completing an internship in Germany. I completed my bachelor studies in August 2019 and received degrees in English, German Studies and History. When I lived in Germany, I volunteered at a school for refugees and helped students prepare for a B2-level (intermediate-high) German exam. Through this volunteer work, I helped students improve their German grammar and pronunciation, in addition to reading and listening comprehension. As someone with extensive experience in living, studying and working in Germany, I am able not only to help students improve their German language skills but also to expand their knowledge of topics such as German-American cultural differences, the German academic system or German workplace customs.

I conduct my lessons in a flexible manner and can gladly adjust my lessons to fit the individual needs of each student. I can work with students from beginning to intermediate German levels (A1-B2).
I can aid you with particular aspects of German grammar or pronunciation, in addition to everyday or professional vocabulary. However, I can also help you practice speaking freely and fluently in German, in addition to helping you with writing or reading comprehension.
I will gladly answer any particular questions you may have or help you work through homework. I would also gladly create individual content such as worksheets, reading texts or writing topics that we could then work through together.

Ich gestalte den Unterricht frei und kann mich gerne auf die Bedürfnisse einzelner Studenten anpassen. Ich kann mit Studenten auf dem Niveau A1 bis B2 arbeiten.
