About Johannes

I hold a Master's degree in German Literature and have spent several years in Germany, immersing myself in its culture and traditions.

With over a decade of teaching experience, I've worked with a diverse group of students ranging from school children to corporate executives, aiding them in achieving fluency and a genuine appreciation for the German language.

About the lesson

My name is Johannes, and I have always believed that learning a language, especially German, is not just about memorizing vocabulary or mastering grammar rules. It's about immersing oneself in a rich culture, understanding the nuances, and communicating effectively. With years of experience both as a native speaker and as an educator, I have developed an adaptive and dynamic approach to tutoring German.

Teaching Methodology:

Interactive Learning:

I incorporate multimedia resources such as German films, music, and literature to provide context and make learning enjoyable.
Tailored Approach:

Recognizing that every student is unique, I adapt my teaching methods to cater to individual learning styles and paces.
Practical Application:

Beyond textbook learning, I emphasize conversational practice, encouraging students to speak and think in German.
Cultural Integration:

To truly understand a language, one needs to understand its culture. I incorporate elements of German history, traditions, and current events into our lessons.
Lesson Structure:

Duration: My lessons typically last 60 minutes, ensuring ample time for both theory and practice. However, this can be adjusted based on the student's preference and concentration span.

Initial Assessment: Our first session usually involves a brief assessment to understand the student's proficiency level, which helps in customizing subsequent lessons.

Qualifications & Experience:

I hold a Master's degree in German Literature and have spent several years in Germany, immersing myself in its culture and traditions.

With over a decade of teaching experience, I've worked with a diverse group of students ranging from school children to corporate executives, aiding them in achieving fluency and a genuine appreciation for the German language.

Who Are My Lessons For?

Level: From beginners looking to pick up a new language to advanced students aiming for fluency or preparing for exams like the Goethe-Zertifikat.

Age: I cater to all age groups - from young children getting their first taste of German to adults seeking to learn for professional or personal reasons.

Conclusion:

My ultimate goal is to make learning German a fulfilling experience. Through a blend of traditional teaching techniques and modern resources, I aim to foster a genuine love for the language and its rich culture. Let's embark on this linguistic journey together!
