About Emanuel
I graduated in foreign languages at Ca'Foscari, Venice, specializing myself in German, English, respective literature. I have lived for short and long periods, in the United States, England and Scotland, where I studied at the University of St Andrews, writing my MA final dissertation. My experience as a private teacher began by offering consulting and translation services for the preparation of papers and other academic works, which have always been very successful.

As a foreign language teaching method I rely on two reference texts, one for text comprehension and written production skills, another for grammar with exercises. Oral skills, on the other hand, are contextualised according to the interests, needs and / or school / academic / work objectives of the student who intends to learn the foreign language. At the beginning, I usually start from a topic from which to develop a conversation, in order to understand the level of preparation of the student. From here, I prepare my lessons in such a way as to improve the different deficient linguistic aspects. If the student's study path foresees it, listening tests will be part of the lessons.
