I have been a math tutor since 2008. During this time I have tutored 3 students. My first student went ahead in her maths class and received A's and B's in her report for maths at the end of the year.

First, find out what they need help with.
Second, make some worksheets for what they need help with.
Third, do the worksheets with them and show assist them with figuring it out. With how to work it out on the sheet.
Fourth, give them some homework to complete before the next session when they are fimiler with the working out method.
Last, give them a test when they are doing well on there topic.
