About Andrea

Hi there!! I’m Andrea, an Art & Contemporary Studies student at TMU and someone who’s been doodling for as long as I can remember HAHA Give me a pencil and a blank page, and I’ll probably disappear into my own little world

I’ve worked as a community center instructor, where I’ve taught and encouraged students to explore their creativity in a fun, supportive environment.

I believe art isn’t about making the “perfect” drawing! it’s about learning to see, imagine, and express your ideas. Instead of teaching you to simply copy Pinterest or TikTok tutorials, I’ll help you understand why an artwork works, where artists find inspiration, and how you can develop your own unique style. We’ll experiment with different techniques, explore new ideas, and maybe create a few characters you’ll become way too attached to.

Whether you love cute cartoons, expressive sketches, or dream of creating your own illustrations, I’d love to help you on your creative journey. Let’s make art that

About the lesson

My lessons focus on building creativity and confidence—not just copying what you see. I’ll teach you the fundamentals of illustration, cartooning, and sketching while helping you understand how to develop original ideas, find inspiration, and create your own unique style.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to improve your skills, I’ll guide you through topics such as:

* Sketching fundamentals and observation
* Cartoon and character design
* Illustration techniques
* Composition and storytelling
* Finding inspiration and generating creative ideas
* Exploring different art styles instead of blindly following references
* Building your own artistic voice and confidence

My goal is to make learning fun, encouraging, and personalized so you can grow as an artist while enjoying the process!!!
