About Lizzie
I have a CELTA qualification and experience as a private tutor. I studied Modern Languages in university, and have lived abroad, so I have plenty of experience of being a student as well as a teacher! With a good understanding of the learning process and what students may find difficult, I have lots of hints and tips about the easiest way to learn English.
When I teach, I want you to get the most out of the lessons, mostly through having fun! So the lessons will be designed to suit your interests and your goals.

Through combining creative classes and methodical teaching, I can help you develop your fluency and understanding, and improve your spoken and written language skills. I will tailor lessons to suit your interests and goals, whether that is English for fun, for travel, for work or all three.
I can use a variety of media, so you can practice listening, speaking, reading, and writing, and develop a well-rounded knowledge. However, if there is a specific skill that you wish to improve then we can focus on that, for example: if you find you can understand well but struggle to speak, I can help you build confidence and fluency. Or if you can speak well but want to improve your grammar, we’ll focus on that, and so on.
