About Alexandra
I’m an outgoing person who enjoys meeting new people and immersing myself in new cultures. Learning languages is a great way to do exactly that, and I have first-hand experience adapting to a new language and culture, which helps me understand the challenges learners face.
I am currently finishing my Bachelor’s degree in German Language Education in the US and will soon begin my Master’s in German. I have lived and studied in both Austria and the United States, which has given me strong cultural insight into German-speaking countries and everyday language use.
I aim to create a supportive, relaxed environment where students feel comfortable speaking and building confidence at their own pace.

My approach is relaxed and conversation-focused, helping students build fluency and confidence through real-life speaking practice. I correct mistakes naturally during conversation and introduce useful vocabulary and phrases as we go.
A typical lesson is centered around speaking: we start with a short warm-up, then move into guided conversation based on your interests or goals. I adapt my questions and topics to your level, and I’ll support you with corrections, pronunciation tips, and cultural context from Germany and Austria.
What sets me apart is my academic background in German Language Education combined with real cultural experience in both Austria and the US. I understand how German is actually used in different contexts, not just textbook language.
My lessons are for learners of all levels who want to improve speaking skills, especially those who want to sound more natural and confident in everyday German! :)
