Rhythm and lead are the main things you'll need to know about guitar playing and then we'll go into more detail with various books.
Also, I'll be teaching you Music theory on keys because I think having that in mind is essential to understanding music in greater detail.

  • When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?

My interest in music began during my childhood in Tehran when I first picked up the guitar. Music quickly became a powerful way to express myself and explore emotions I couldn't put into words. Over the years, this passion grew as I experimented with different genres and instruments, shaping my identity as a musician.
  • What makes you passionate about your subject?

Music has the power to transcend boundaries-it's universal yet deeply personal. It can tell stories, evoke emotions, and connect people across cultures. My passion lies in its ability to transform both the creator and the listener. Helping others discover their own connection to music is incredibly fulfilling for me.
  • What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a "Superprof"?

Tutoring allows me to share my love for music and guide students on their unique journeys. I enjoy helping them unlock their potential, whether they're just beginning or refining their craft. What makes me a "Superprof" is my ability to tailor lessons to suit each student's style and goals. My background as a composer, performer, and teacher in various countries also gives me a diverse perspective that enriches my lessons.
  • Do you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you? Please explain.

I've been deeply inspired by artists like Jeff Beck, Gregory Alan Isakov, Michael Jackson, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, and Radiohead. Their ability to blend emotion, storytelling, and technical mastery is something I admire and strive for. As a teacher, I also draw inspiration from mentors who taught me to explore music fearlessly, encouraging creativity, patience, and adaptability.
  • What are your keys to success?

Success comes from a mix of persistence, passion, and curiosity. As a musician and teacher, I remain open to learning and exploring new ideas. For my students, I emphasize the importance of consistent practice, understanding music theory, and developing the confidence to express themselves authentically through their art.
