About Alexis
Hi there! My name is Alexis, and I am a professional actress flexing between New York City and Los Angeles. I have done film, television, commercials, verticals, UGC, and theater. I received my bachelor's degree in Theater at Marymount Manhattan College. My most recent role was playing Teedra in the Peacock original series Bel-Air. I am the supporting actress and associate producer for the 5x award-winning pilot dramedy The Hype. I coach children, teens, and beginners acting on camera, audition prep, and the fundamentals of acting. If you need help prepping for an audition, need a reader, or want to continue or start your acting journey, I am here to help you!
I started my teaching in my hometown at The Delaware Arts Conservatory. I worked primarily with children and teens helping them develop confidence for the stage, executing exercises to get them out of their comfort zone, improvisation, working on monologues, and encouraging them to play! I then became an acting assistant coach at Marymount Manhattan College in New York City where I mainly focused on the Uta Hagen and Stella Adler techniques. I am now in Los Angeles coaching one on one with teens, beginners, and intermediate actors.
I started booking work, getting more callbacks, and getting pinned for more projects when I approach my auditions differently. Let me share my suggestions with you! I am also a Gen Z actress that has adapted quickly to the changes of the industry. I can give you advice on shortform storytelling, social media presence, virtual performances, self-tapes, and remote callbacks.

My lessons are designed to help actors develop a strong foundation for both stage and on-camera performance. We work on audition technique, self-tapes, improvisation, scene study, script analysis, character development, and building authentic emotional connections to the material. For on-camera actors, we focus on adjusting performances for the lens, creating natural self-tapes, and making choices that translate effectively on screen. I use a technique-based approach focused on imagination, preparation, and truthful performances while helping actors gain confidence and make stronger acting choices.
