About Rebecca
I have over ten years of teaching experience and have taught English and French to students all over the world - everywhere from the UK and France, to China and Indonesia! I teach both children and adults, some children as young as two-years-old, and some adults too old to reveal their age to me! I am super friendly and easygoing, supportive and helpful. Most importantly, I want you to feel happy! Learning a language is all about communication and exchange, so it's really important to feel comfortable while you are learning and developing. So what have I learnt through teaching hundreds of students? That the best way to learn is to relax and have fun! In our lessons, we will work together to build your confidence with patience and laughter. I always encourage a “growth mindset” because this approach helps you to enjoy every challenge and do your best! I hope to meet you in class soon!

Hello students! My name is Becky. I specialise in teaching EFL (English as a Foreign Language) with a primary focus on conversation and confidence building. I also assist students with their IELTS Speaking exams. It doesn’t matter what your current level is in a language, whether you are just starting, have some experience already or are nearly fluent, we can always make progress together! I grew up and was educated in the UK, then went on to study French Studies at the University of London Institute in Paris. I have travelled all my life and I am always interested to meet new students and discover new cultures. I find it fascinating how language can shape a culture - and how culture can shape a language! I love to write, sing, dance, make music, explore nature and learn new languages. I like to personally maintain the perspective of a language student as this helps me to continuously improve my teaching. I truly love languages and I am currently learning and practising Japanese every day!
