About Elise

I aim to simplify complex topics and expand students critical thinking skills so that they can answer questions individually. I enjoy helping others to achieve their full potential. Having completed my A levels recently I understand the new curriculum and the additional content. I received 4 As at A level in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Geography by finding a balance between revising knowledge and applying it to exam questions. I want to help you to do better in your exams and to have a better understanding of maths.

About the lesson

I like to centre lessons around what the student finds more challenging and gauge what they already know. I know from experience that often students need help gaining confidence in the application of what they have already been taught. I am happy to go through example questions that the student finds challenging and will then guide and prompt them through as they work through similar ones. I find this creates a more active learning experience and will help them in an exam environment.
Lessons will take place via Google Meet.

Elise tutored me for my geography A level exams this year, she is kind, reliable and took the time to tailor revision to me. She explains things clearly and helped improve my exam technique. She made revision sessions engaging and enjoyable for me. Would highly recommend to anyone.
