About Tara
I am an enthusiastic 3rd Year Cancer Sciences student at the Uni of Nottingham! With 9A*s and a 7 at GCSE, and A Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Spanish, my future is in science but Spanish holds a special place in my heart.
My tutoring experience is with 3 girls at my school who were on track for grade 2 in GCSE Spanish but with 2 months of weekly sessions they managed to achieve 5s. I have also ‘tutored’ my 2 younger brothers through GCSE and Levels so I have worked with a range of ages and genders. I had a Chemistry tutor through my A Levels so I know how much the extra support can help and I thoroughly enjoy providing that for others!
Aside from academics, I play netball for my uni so I do have a competitive streak, but I also have 3 years of experience volunteering in my local Oxfam at home. This means I’ve met and communicated with so many different people - it’s safe to say I’m a sociable person!
