About Akarii

I’m a former student of digital design at CU Denver transitioning to teaching English abroad. I have a deep love for art and media. I have 5 years of freelance design experience under my belt, and I’m deeply familiar with Adobe Suite and Procreate.

Favorites:
- Shows: Squid Games, Avatar the Last Airbender
- Movies: Spider-Verse, Snowpiercer, Twilight
- Comics: Seven Secrets, Black Panther
- Games: Pokémon, Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros.

About the lesson

I have experience working on graphics for advertising, catalogs, websites, posters, and games. My approach has always been client centered. I’d love to share my experience and understanding with you!

Working with clients can be a daunting challenge, but it helps to have a mentor in your corner.

I’d love to help you find your voice as a designer, help you explore your visual creativity, or prepare you to take on your first client!

All skill levels welcome.

Perfect! Akarii was a fantastic tutor for me. He led sessions over the period of a few months to help me expand my graphic design and creative skills. I enjoyed sessions with him. He pulled together a syllabus and assignments for me to also work on my skills on my own. He really helped set me up to become a better marketing professional. Highly recommend!
