About Abinaya

I am a friendly fourth-year medic who has tutored for the last year across a wide range of ages for maths, biology and chemistry. This has allowed me to develop a consistent style of teaching.

In the first lesson, I will ask the student to reflect on their easiest and most challenging areas. Using this, I create dynamic lesson plans to tackle the challenging areas as well as reinforcing lessons on the easier topics.

Lessons will often involve working through example problems together. I encourage my students to think aloud and led the session so that I can guide their thinking in an effective way.

At the end, the student will review the key lessons and I check in to see how they found it and set the relevant homework.

About the lesson

- 1 hour lessons for those interested in learning GCSE-level content in biology, chemistry and maths
- Lessons based on learning/reviewing content using active recall methods and using relevant past paper questions to also improve exam performance
- Have tutored maths, biology and chemistry at GCSE level for the past few years
- Happy to provide homework

- I am passionate about inviting students to voice their opinions about the pace and learning style so that they can shape their learning in a way that is fit for them
