About Samantha
I am a four year experienced Teacher who graduated with a Masters of Teaching at the University of Tasmania. I also completed an undergraduate degree in Fine Art and Bachelor of Arts in 2013. I have taught in both private and public primary, secondary and tertiary schools in Hobart, Tasmania. I specialise in English, Sociology, History, Humanities and Visual Art. I am passionate about these subjects and I hope to pass this onto the students. I ensure that each student meets their full potential within their chosen subject area.

I have gathered and I employ an extensive gamut of relevant and contemporary teaching strategies. The core of my teaching pedagogy is the belief that education is taking care of and fostering student's individual skill set and knowledge as well as to effectively nurture working relationships and to cultivate curiosity within their subjects areas. I apply different methodologies depending on the subject, the student's learning needs and the learning skills and knowledge that the wants to be achieved. I will expose the students to different teaching strategies and learning activities to increase their knowledge and skill sets within their chosen subject area. I want every student to increase their skills and knowledge to the best of their abilities. I believe every student should have the opportunity to reach their own unique potential.
