About Kim
I retired early from Iowa State University after teaching journalism courses for twenty years. I worked extensively with international students, many of whom were funded by their governments. Most have gone on to stellar careers. I have also taught English as a second language as a substitute for several months to diverse students. I enjoyed the experience so much that have taken courses to become certified to teach ESL. I would like to continue teaching the subject.

I have taught undergraduate and graduate students at Iowa State University. My experience has been that students appreciate instructors who open to discussing problems with their instructors. Thus, I attempt to establish a personal relationship with each student. As a tutor, I would work to establish good relationships with each student.
