About Hilary

Teaching started as a voluntary pursuit that eventually became my full-time focus. Having earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Cornell University, I now apply that academic rigor to one-on-one tutoring. My primary goal involves helping nervous beginners navigate coordinate geometry, trigonometry, and calculus without losing their interest or momentum.

Precision matters greatly to me during our sessions. I prefer working through real problems rather than tidy, made-up equations found in standard textbooks. Statistics, probability, and linear algebra become manageable when we move past rote memorization.

My work remains finished only when a student feels confident enough to challenge my logic and prove me wrong. I enjoy the process of turning anxiety into clarity.

About the lesson

Homework help requires clarity. I provide weekly practice worksheets with 6.0 step by step solutions to solidify your progress between meetings.

These materials bridge the gap between abstract concepts and exam performance. Geometry and algebraic foundations receive specific attention during our time together. We prioritize accuracy over speed to ensure no one checks out mentally.

My background in traditional classrooms informs how I break down complex ideas for individual learners. You will walk away from every single hour with a clear understanding of the material.
