About Florence

I'm Florence, I am in year 13, my last year of school! German is such a beautiful language and with family in Germany; I have visited the country and found the culture to be vibrant and exciting and the history of the German people sad but meaningful. German is not a subject as widely available as French or Spanish which is why I'd love to be able to start beginner German speakers off and assist with those already studying in any way I can. Those who need some extra GCSE support...I’m very willing to help! It wasn’t that long ago I was doing it myself!

About the lesson

Hi, I'm offering 45-minute lessons online helping give young students up to GCSE level, help with their German studies. It sometimes really helps to have someone who's recently been through the exams to aid your German skills alongside the work you do at school. German GCSE was in no way easy for me but with special revision techniques and tricks; I received a top grade and went on to the A-level.

Perfect! My son’s first lesson is excellent because Florence is very good at explaining things to learners and is well experienced with German.

Florence's passion and patience really shine through in her teaching, she's fantastic at breaking down and explaining difficult concepts. I've seen the effort that she puts into her lesson plans - she's intelligent, caring, and I would highly recommend her as a tutor.

She took my German GCSE from a 5 to a 9 in 4 months! Florence is always well prepared for a lesson and is good at spotting out my weaker abilities, while being encouraging and supportive when addressing them. For better results, find Florence!
