About Alison
In 2017, I graduated from Monmouth University with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education K-6, Special Education, and Anthropology. I hope certificates in New Jersey teachings Special Education and Grade K-6. I have taught second grade in a public school in New Jersey for the past three years. In addition to teaching the public school curriculum, I have taught students with disabilities and 504 plans as well as English Language Learners. Currently, I am an online ESL teacher and tutor for students with disabilities ranging from ages 5-14.

I became a teacher to make learning fun and to connect with my students. My biggest belief is that if children are not happy or interested in what they are learning, they will not be as engaged or retain anything! Through this, I have found a passion for incorporating student interest into my lessons in order to create a love of learning. In addition, I strive to help build student confidence in all areas. It is important to me that I provide them with positive experiences. When my students are smiling, laughing, and learning I have done something right!
