About Gage
I am an ESL tutor with 9 years of experience teaching high school and college students. During this time, I have taught 150-200 students, helping them improve their English skills, gain confidence, and achieve academic success. Teaching is not just my profession—it is my passion, and I take pride in helping students unlock their potential.
My teaching style is interactive, practical, and student-centred. I use real-life examples, discussions, and exercises to develop speaking, writing, reading, and listening skills. I also focus on building confidence, critical thinking, and effective communication so that students feel empowered to express themselves in any situation.
Some of my proudest moments include students speaking fluently for the first time, writing clearly and confidently, improving their grades, and actively participating in class. Witnessing these transformations inspires me to continue teaching with creativity, patience, and dedication.
I aim to create a supportive, positive, and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and exploring the language. Teaching ESL is my passion, and I am committed to helping every student achieve their goals while enjoying the journey of learning English.
