About Kate

I am a passionate ESL tutor with 7 years of experience teaching High School and College students. Over this time, I have guided around 150 to 200 students, helping them strengthen their English skills and achieve academic success.

I believe education can transform lives, and teaching English is my way of making a difference. I focus on grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking, while creating a supportive and engaging environment where students feel confident to practise.

One of the proudest milestones in my career has been seeing students who once struggled with communication gain fluency and self-assurance. Many have improved their grades and participated actively in presentations and discussions.

I adapt my lessons to each student’s learning style and pace. My goal is to inspire students to enjoy learning English and reach their full potential.

About the lesson

My ESL teaching methodology focuses on practical, real-world learning. I use real-life examples and case studies such as workplace meetings, travel situations, academic discussions, and social conversations to help students apply English confidently.

Students practise speaking, listening, reading, and writing through interactive exercises and role plays. Motivation is central to my approach. I provide positive feedback, set clear goals, and celebrate students’ progress to build confidence. When students encounter challenges, I apply problem-solving strategies to simplify grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.

Integrity guides my teaching, and I maintain honesty, professionalism, and respect in every session. Flexibility allows me to adjust lessons according to each student’s learning style and pace. In addition to ESL, I also teach spoken English, business communication, academic writing, and grammar fundamentals.
