About Romy
I am a passionate ESL tutor with 6 years of experience teaching High School and College students. Over my career, I have worked with 150–200 students, helping them improve their English and achieve academic goals.
I believe teaching is more than delivering lessons — it is about inspiring students to believe in themselves. I focus on grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking, creating interactive and practical lessons that build skills and confidence.
One of my proudest milestones has been seeing students transform from hesitant learners into confident communicators. Many have improved their grades and participated actively in class discussions and presentations.
I adapt my lessons to each student’s learning style and pace. My goal is to help students enjoy learning English and reach their full potential.

My ESL teaching methodology emphasises confidence, practical skills, and long-term improvement. I use real-life examples and case studies such as workplace conversations, academic discussions, travel scenarios, and daily life interactions to make learning meaningful. Students practise speaking, listening, reading, and writing in interactive and structured lessons.
Motivation is key; I encourage students with achievable goals, consistent feedback, and recognition of progress. When students face challenges, I use problem-solving strategies to simplify grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation concepts. Integrity guides my teaching, and I maintain honesty, professionalism, and respect in every session.
Flexibility allows me to adapt lessons to each student’s pace, goals, and learning style. In addition to ESL, I also teach spoken English, business communication, academic writing, and grammar fundamentals.
