About Em
I'm a successful fine artist, graphic designer, professor, and tattooer from New York City. After over 20 years in the industry, I'm here to share my skills with you. I've taught college-level courses at Parsons. I have an MFA in fine arts from Rutgers University and a BFA from Parsons the New School.

Think you don't have the talent to pursue the creative career of your passion? Few were born with skills, most learn them. It's a proven fact that all geniuses throughout history worked hard at their crafts. With me as your guide, you will perfect the creative skills you need to move forward in your next move as a creative. Whether you aspire to be a tattoo artist, fine arts painter, or graphic designer, there are steps that you must take to make your way to the top. As your tutor, I will lead you through the process of building the portfolio you need to make it to the next stage. I'm different from most tutors as I have a range of experience teaching at degree institutions and learning on my own. I've worked as a professor at Parsons and Rutgers University, shown my paintings in NYC galleries, earned six figures as an Art Director and Tattoo Artist, and landed here to show you what I've learned along the way. I have been on admissions committees at some of the best art schools and facilitate lessons in portfolio prep. I am here to help you with your school work or to gain the skills you need for a new career in the arts.
