About Daisy-May
I’m currently a practising artist selling paintings privately as well as commissioned portraits, and illustration projects.
My personal practice includes sculpture, printmaking and installation and the exploration of art philosophy. As a recent graduate I am fresh with knowledge of contemporary art as well as Art History. Having received top grades at school and attending London’s top Art Foundation courses along with winning competitions, I know what it takes to achieve such feats.
My BA Fine Art course specialised in traditional skills within Fine Art not only in its practice but also academically. I take immense pleasure in helping others explore what excites them in art and helping them do so by sharing my knowledge and skills. Our aim is to have a strong baseline of skills and knowledge to either kickstart your journey into finding who you are as an artist, or pursuing and evolving your existing interests to refine your current practice.

Guiding students in order to gain the base techniques over a range of disciplines helping them find their own practise and interests through exploring practice and theory. I am a multidisciplinary artist myself meaning we will cover a wide range of mediums.
Creative subjects and schools generally receive little funding especially in the state school system as I came from. I believe learning through making is something that isn't practised enough and is immensely beneficial to the growth of creative intelligence. Whether you would like to improve your skills, learn how to handle a new material, and even practise your critical thinking about art - I have the tools to help you do you so!
Lessons 60 minutes minimum. Currently have experience teaching Art to 10-12 years, able to tutor students at A-level and below.
My qualifications are all A* in GCSE and A-level Fine Art and Textiles , B-TEC foundation diploma at Kingston University and a high 2.1 for BA Fine Art (Hons).
My lessons are relaxed yet informative, creating something should be fun but also challenging!
