About Brad

I have tutored math for over ten years, and my students have had success at every level. I've taught algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, calculus, and statistics to high school and college students. Sessions are either taught online, in-person in a library, or at the student's home with parents present. I take pride in being on-time, prepared, and reliable. I go the extra mile to help students succeed.

About the lesson

My approach begins with getting to know you, your goals, your current situation. We then identify how we can build on that to develop a broader base for understanding future concepts and approaching difficult problems.

My lessons are based on your coursework materials, and I walk through with an interactive audio and visual approach (with on-screen markups) to clarify concepts and help you work problems yourself. Lessons end with specific suggestions for development before our next session.

I combine my advanced training in math (via a Math minor in college, extensive professional training in math, and more), with an ability to translate complicated ideas into simple language. I also have a passion for teaching, a love of math, and a reassuring and fun personality to keep things light.

I teach math at all levels, from Algebra 1 through college calculus and statistics. I am available online and in-person.
