About Kevin
I successfully completed my Abitur in Germany with a focus on mathematics and am currently studying at the University of the Fraser Valley. Since my school days, I have regularly tutored mathematics, especially in algebra, equations, functions, and mathematical rules, helping students logically understand and confidently apply math. In addition to my studies, I have gained experience as a soccer coach, which has shown me how important patience, motivation, and individualized support are – qualities that I also bring into my tutoring sessions. I know how to make learning processes clear while creating a positive, goal-oriented learning atmosphere. I work with a step-by-step approach, starting with the basics and systematically building up knowledge. My lessons include:
1-Real-life examples to make abstract concepts more tangible
2-Solving problems together to reinforce understanding
3-Visual aids such as sketches, diagrams, or tables for visual learners
4-Simple and clear explanations of formulas and mathematical rules
I also place great emphasis on building self-confidence and motivation, as many students don’t struggle with the material itself but with the fear of it.
